It's been raining unreal proportions in southern California and I'm kind of loving it. Me and my handy dandy imagination are pretending it's snow. so cold! so season appropriate! this kind of weather demands cozy fireplace action...

also season (and crazy person) appropriate....painting your firewood stash in pretty, poppy colors. {don't think I haven't thought about doing this...}

 I want to make my own wreath and these are some nice ideas. I like the thought of an all berry one...a little organic-y looking... I need to round up some supplies, stat. Have you ever made a wreath before? any tips for a rookie?

the holiday decorating has begun! bought the tree this weekend and found two stockings that are awesome and vintagey for 70 cents a piece!
