My love for cacti and succulents has grown considerably since moving to California two-ish years ago. They look otherworldly and are so dang easy to keep alive! I bought some yesterday to feed my small addiction...

{the goods}

{not exactly what I was going for, but it'll get bigger....right?}

{look at that purple hat! so fancy}

{and these. let's just take a moment to admire their cuteness}

here's to hoping they grow. any insider tips?

found!

this week's found! is of the fallen kind.

There are tons of eucalyptus trees where I live and this huge fallen branch was spotted on an afternoon run. Came back with snippers and took a carload home (much to the dismay of peering neighbors).

stuck some branches in a tall glass vase and called it a day. The little seed pods are so dainty and the color is muted and dreamy. Not sure what those tall things are, I found them in the garage.
