found! lamp light

it was green tag half off day. I'm no math whiz, but I think that's like $2.50...yeah.

with new drum shade from Target ($25). My mom will probably call me shortly after reading this and tell me to wash the dang windows. eh. I like that the shade and base match in color too.

I was perusing my new Better Homes and Gardens magazine and found this similar lamp from Lampsplus.com. selling for 89 bucks. kinda similar, right? I personally like the proportion of mine better...

don't get me wrong, I think he's really cool...{and he looks like a pretty solid weapon to use against unwanted intruders (a la baseball bat)...and pink cord? heck yes} but I don't think we'd be compatible in a living situation... {But I'll never say never}.
